Family Mediation and Consensus Building Department
The Family Mediation and Consensus Building Department, led by Adv. Tamar Pollack, specializes in all types of mediation arising from disputes within the family – including mediation in divorce proceedings, disputes regarding inheritance, family businesses, disputes between spouses prior to a prenuptial agreement or in a domestic peace proceeding, disputes between parents and children, sibling disputes, etc.
In addition, the department leads consensus-building processes even before the outbreak of conflict, with the aim of formulating a future arrangement on conflictual and multi-interest issues between family members.
Family mediation in our department is managed with a combination of first-rate mediation professionalism, legal knowledge in the field of family law, commercial understanding for handling economic issues, and the human sensitivity required to lead a dialogue on delicate and complex issues within the family. The department, led by Adv. Tamar Pollack, has a very high success rate of successfully completing mediations.
The family mediation process ends with an agreement that regulates the future of family and economic relations in their new configuration, with all the accompanying aspects, while taking into account the broad interests, both overt and covert, of the parties involved.
We see our work as a mission, in order to help family members reach agreements in a respectful, fast, businesslike manner while saving valuable time and resources, rather than a legal process that, in addition to being expensive and lengthy, is destructive to family relationships – both of the parties involved and of other parties in the family.
Adv. Tamar Pollack has extensive experience in commercial litigation in various fields and in the family law field. In the past, she was a partner in leading firms in Israel. In recent years, Tamar has chosen to use the legal knowledge and professional experience she has accumulated to help parties bring disputes to an end through mediation. Commercial experience and understanding often contribute to the success of mediations managed by her.
In addition, Tamar has an excellent interpersonal ability, which enables her to help the parties conduct a dialogue and strive for agreement even when the intensity of the dispute is high.
